Travel retail specialist Creative Promotions, the official Swiss representative of the Airport Promotion Agencies (APA) association, was selected to support the exclusive travel retail launch of Smirnoff Gold at Zurich Airport.

The promotion took place during April on the main stage on level two of the departure shop at Zurich Airport. The activity was focused around an eye-catching stand, which was the first thing that customers would see when entering the store. 

Creative Promotions' staff were then on hand to engage passengers further, explaining the new brand and offering them an exclusively prepared cocktail.

Over the four weeks of the promotion, Creative Promotions staffed the stand in two shifts per day; from 8.30am to 12.30pm and from 4pm to 8pm to coincide with the airport's peak periods.

Commenting on the promotions, Virginia Navarro, general manager of Creative Promotions, said: "This was a fantastic promotion for us to be working on. The combination of such an excellent product and stunning display, alongside our own planning and organisation as well as the professionalism of the staff contributed to a very successful promotion."
